Plumbers: Journeymen, Apprentices for Large Commercial Projects

Icon Industrial Contractors Ltd. is an industry leading plumbing company in Edmonton. As one of the largest mechanical contractors, we are able to work on large commercial projects such as recreation centres, hospitals, post secondary campuses, labs and schools. We are now accepting resumes for Journeyman, Apprentices and Starters for commercial work in Edmonton. If you want to try a new trade or a different company, we can be a fit for you. The positions are full time, 5 days a week, 40 hours per week. Normal working hours are 7am to 3:30pm. Overtime as required.

Skills required for the position include:

  • Ability to work physically and regularly lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Attention to detail, strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time to meet required project deadlines
  • Ability to understand instructions for layout of pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials Requirements for the positions include:
  • Valid class 5 Alberta driver’s license (not mandatory)
  • Experience in commercial or industrial plumbing (not mandatory)
  • Currently enrolled in or desire to enroll in apprenticeship program ICON offers the following compensation package:
