This was a highly collaborative project in which ICON was selected along with the Mechanical consultant to design and construct a 190,000 square foot greenfield educational building within a very tight property line on a fast-track schedule. The project required very in depth pull planning and buy-in from our sub-trades to hit the completion date. This included elements of design and site coordination, as well as creative solutions to equipment manufacturing, to meet the targets. The project team plotted out numerous items such as the installation of long lead components, large equipment delivery timing before the closing in of the building envelope, and demobilization of tower crane just after the major equipment deliveries.
